About the Role

The 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing and facility equipment during third shift operations.

This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The technician will collaborate closely with production teams to identify and resolve issues before they escalate, supporting continuous production flow.

Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate maintenance records and adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to the overall reliability and longevity of equipment, directly impacting operational success and workplace safety.

Schedule

3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and execute timely repairs
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and parts inventory
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies when working with equipment and materials
Skills

The required skills enable the technician to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and complete repairs across a wide range of equipment, helping to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential for troubleshooting complex systems. Communication skills support effective collaboration with production and engineering teams as well as accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Preferred skills such as CMMS and PLC experience enhance the ability to manage maintenance schedules and address automation-related challenges. A strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance ensures a secure and reliable working environment.
