Director, Regional Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Regional Sales based in United States.

This is a high-impact sales leadership opportunity focused on driving enterprise growth, expanding market presence, and accelerating new customer acquisition across a designated region. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, guiding a team of experienced sales professionals while building scalable processes that support long-term success. Working cross-functionally with product, marketing, customer success, and operations teams, you will influence business outcomes and contribute directly to organizational growth. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies focused on enterprise customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of senior sales professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and strategic deal guidance.
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable sales methodologies and playbooks to improve consistency, efficiency, and win rates.
  • Drive pipeline generation, account penetration, and new logo acquisition across targeted enterprise accounts.
  • Establish rigorous forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management processes to ensure predictable business performance.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within strategic accounts.
  • Support complex negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract execution while ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, customer success, and sales operations teams to enhance customer acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Utilize data, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve sales productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Increase market awareness and communicate business value propositions that help customers solve critical data and technology challenges.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience leading high-performing software sales teams, with a strong record of enterprise business development and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring net-new enterprise customers and consistently exceeding regional sales targets and quotas.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software, IT infrastructure, applications, data platforms, or related technology solutions.
  • Proven experience developing, implementing, and scaling structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing sales talent.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and executive-level customer engagements.
  • Excellent strategic planning, forecasting, territory management, and operational execution capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across multiple business functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, data management solutions, or adjacent enterprise technology markets is highly desirable.
