This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Corporate Engineer based in United States.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role shaping the technical backbone of enterprise workforce systems, with a strong focus on identity, access, endpoint, and network architecture at scale. You will define long-term strategy and engineering standards for critical corporate platforms that enable secure, reliable, and seamless employee experiences across a distributed workforce. The role sits at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and corporate IT, requiring deep systems thinking and the ability to influence without formal authority. You will lead architecture decisions across identity governance, zero-trust access, endpoint management, and office networking environments spanning multiple geographies. Your work will directly impact organizational security posture, operational efficiency, and employee productivity. This is a high-visibility role where your technical direction becomes the foundation for how enterprise IT systems evolve over time.
- Define and own the long-term architecture strategy for enterprise identity and access systems, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, SCIM provisioning, and identity governance frameworks.
- Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards and reusable automation patterns (e.g., Terraform modules) to enable scalable, auditable, and secure provisioning workflows.
- Lead the design and evolution of endpoint management strategies across Mac and Windows environments, ensuring secure, modern, and scalable device trust models.
- Define enterprise network architecture direction across office locations, including segmentation, zero-trust principles, observability, and vendor strategy alignment.
- Serve as the technical authority during major incidents, driving root cause analysis, postmortems, and long-term architectural remediation efforts.
- Partner with Security Engineering, Compliance, and IT teams to design access governance, auditability, and compliance-aligned identity and infrastructure controls.
- Act as a force multiplier across Corporate Engineering by setting engineering standards, mentoring senior engineers, and driving high-impact multi-quarter initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in Corporate IT Engineering, Enterprise Infrastructure, or related technical domains with strong architecture-level responsibility.
- Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise identity platforms (e.g., Okta or equivalent), including SSO, SCIM, MFA, lifecycle management, and governance at scale.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform, including designing reusable frameworks and engineering standards across teams.
- Experience with endpoint management systems (MDM) across mixed Mac and Windows environments, with emphasis on security and automation.
- Background in enterprise networking, including zero-trust architecture, segmentation, and multi-site office network design.
- Strong scripting and integration skills using APIs and at least one language such as Python, PowerShell, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, define architecture standards, and align cross-functional technical stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear decisions and strategy.
- Competitive compensation with equity opportunities and performance-based incentives.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Remote-friendly work model with flexibility and periodic in-person collaboration.
- Professional development support, including learning resources and growth opportunities.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise systems and high-impact architectural decision-making.
- Opportunity to shape foundational corporate engineering standards in a fast-scaling environment.
- Inclusive workplace culture focused on collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
