Position Overview
Triad Financial Services is a leading provider of financial services and solutions, serving clients nationwide. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loan Support Specialist to join our growing team. Loan Support Specialist provide essential administrative and documentation support. Their work improves submission quality, reduces cycle time, and supports consistent execution across the pipeline. Success in this role is measured by the ability to maintain efficient loan flow, minimize delays, and ensure all third-party documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time to support a smooth closing process.
Essential Functions:
- Order third-party services (e.g., appraisals, title commitments, tax certificates, flood certifications/determinations) based on Processor direction and authorization
- Confirm vendor receipt of orders, required documentation, and expected turnaround times
- Proactively follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely return of all third-party items
- Route completed documents to the Processor for review and approval, and ensure proper upload to the loan file
- Track all outstanding orders, statuses, and timelines; manage re-orders or revisions as needed
- Identify and escalate delays, discrepancies, or missing information to the Processor to minimize potential closing impacts
Key Focus Areas:
- Cycle Time Management: Maintain momentum on all third-party items to support timely closings
- Communication: Provide clear, consistent updates to vendors, Processors, and Originators
- Accuracy: Ensure all orders and documentation are complete and correct, including property details, borrower information, and loan identifiers
Work Experience Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in mortgage operations or a related role, with familiarity in third-party vendor management and ordering platforms
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Proven ability to follow up persistently and manage vendor relationships
- Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation accuracy
- Comfortable working within defined service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround expectations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demand:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Maintain consistent, punctual attendance in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other regulations.
- Clear and articulate communication skills on the telephone.
- Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods.
- Proficient in physical typing.
