The Regional Sales Director will lead revenue growth and market expansion across the Northeast, driving sales of a premium portfolio of meticulously reimagined classic vehicles. This role combines hands-on selling, strategic dealer development, and regional profit-and-loss ownership to deliver sustainable commercial results. You will build strong partnerships with dealerships, engage discerning high-net-worth clients, and showcase the unique value of vehicles that combine timeless design with modern performance and reliability. As a regional leader and brand ambassador, you will shape sales strategies, strengthen market presence, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will also mentor sales colleagues, develop new business opportunities, and use data-driven forecasting to optimize performance. This is an entrepreneurial, results-oriented opportunity for an automotive sales leader who thrives on accountability, adaptability, and ambitious growth targets.

Accountabilities:

The Regional Sales Director will oversee regional sales performance, dealer relationships, and business development, taking ownership of revenue, expenses, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales and promote the full portfolio of premium vehicles throughout the assigned region, maintaining accountability for revenue, expenses, and regional profitability.

  • Develop and expand a high-performing dealer network, prioritizing established customer markets and identifying new opportunities for growth.

  • Support dealer partners through sales training, commercial strategy, marketing initiatives, vehicle configuration, deal negotiation, and closing support.

  • Engage high-potential clients through compelling vehicle demonstrations, communicating product features, performance advantages, and distinctive value propositions.

  • Protect gross margins by using company-provided tools, including margin calculators and digital trade-in valuation resources.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, automotive enthusiasts, dealerships, and strategic industry partners.

  • Develop expert knowledge of the complete vehicle lineup and stay informed about automotive industry trends, innovations, and competitive developments.

  • Generate new leads independently, manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and convert opportunities into sales.

  • Manage inbound headquarters leads and direct-to-consumer retail sales opportunities.

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly activity, pipeline, and deal reports to support visibility and decision-making.

  • Mentor junior sales professionals, contribute to their development, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance.

  • Identify and attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, tracking expenses and measuring return on investment for each event.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines proven automotive or luxury-product sales expertise with strong commercial judgment, relationship-building skills, and the ability to lead a regional business. Candidates should bring the following qualifications and capabilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record.

  • A proven track record in automotive sales or luxury-product sales, with experience managing regional sales performance and business outcomes.

  • Experience selling products with an average selling price of $100,000 or more.

  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations, dealer relationship management, and sales channel development.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, including the ability to build trust with high-net-worth clients.

  • Confidence delivering engaging product demonstrations and communicating complex product benefits and value propositions.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and experience managing profit and loss.

  • Strong skills in sales pipeline management, revenue forecasting, CRM systems, and performance reporting.

  • Ability to use digital tools for margin management and trade-in evaluations.

  • Experience training dealer sales teams, supporting commercial and marketing strategies, and mentoring junior colleagues.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a regional territory.

  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time for dealer visits, client meetings, trade shows, and networking events.

  • A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally, including to Europe and the Middle East.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership mentality, adaptability, resilience, and commitment to consistently high standards.

Benefits:

  • Compensation: Salary and overall compensation based on experience and qualifications.

  • Health and wellness: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and Aflac coverage available after 60 days.

  • Retirement savings: 401(k) plan with company matching, available after six months at the next enrollment period.
