Vangle is seeking a results-oriented Business Operations Manager to lead its Amazon Vendor Central (1P) business and support expansion across major U.S. retail channels. This role combines hands-on Amazon Vendor Central operations, sales strategy, retail account development, data analysis, and cross-functional execution. The successful candidate will own day-to-day operations while identifying and implementing opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesAmazon Vendor Central Operations- Manage day-to-day Amazon Vendor Central operations, including purchase order processing, account maintenance, issue resolution, inventory planning, demand forecasting, pricing, content readiness, chargebacks, co-op programs, and other Vendor Central workflows.
- Partner with Amazon Vendor Managers, Buyers, and other retail stakeholders to address operational requirements, commercial policies, account performance, and growth initiatives.
- Plan and execute Amazon promotional programs, seasonal campaigns, major sales events, and category-specific initiatives.
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with the company's revenue, profitability, and channel-growth objectives.
- Develop pricing strategies, promotional calendars, sales forecasts, budgets, and competitive response plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, category performance, consumer demand, and channel dynamics to identify commercial opportunities and potential risks.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve revenue, margins, inventory productivity, sell-through, in-stock performance, and overall account profitability.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators, including ordered and shipped revenue, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, conversion, returns, promotional performance, advertising efficiency, and profitability.
- Translate business and performance data into actionable recommendations related to pricing, inventory, marketing, promotions, and sales execution.
- Support expansion beyond Amazon into strategic U.S. retail channels, including Target, Costco, Kohl's, Walmart, and other relevant national or regional accounts.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with retail buyers, channel partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial proposals, assortment recommendations, account plans, and channel-specific growth strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Economics, E-commerce, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in U.S. e-commerce operations, retail sales, channel management, or a related commercial role.
- At least one year of hands-on experience managing Amazon Vendor Central or Amazon 1P operations.
- Strong working knowledge of purchase orders, inventory management, promotions, pricing, forecasting, chargebacks, co-op programs, and retail performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent business communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, retail partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Previous experience working at Amazon, Walmart, or another major U.S. retail or e-commerce organization.
- Demonstrated experience expanding a brand into national retail channels such as Target, Costco, Kohl's, Walmart, or similar retailers.
- Experience in consumer products or on a brand-side Amazon or retail account team.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
