Job Description
The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants for part-time, Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Development.
This Appointment-Stream position will be a part-time faculty member in the Health Promotion and Development department in the School of Nursing, who will be responsible teaching and mentoring students in a classroom setting and will contribute to course development and delivery. They will support student learning, professional development, and readiness for practice. Other duties may be assigned based on department needs.

Faculty promotion opportunities are available for all ranks. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant Professor – A) An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the area of scholarship within the School of Nursing is required. B) Evidence of or potential for a sustained and impactful program of scholarship. C) Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity.
