Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Provider Recruitment Specialist
Serves as Provider Recruiter and fosters medical staff engagement by providing network opportunities between EvergreenHealth medical staff members, administration, and service lines.
Primary Duties
- Supports the onboarding of the independent medical staff and EvergreenHealth Medical Group (EHMG) onboarding, orientation, and retention process.
- Coordinates all onboarding processes to create a smooth transition for new EHMG providers into the EvergreenHealth community.
- Working with key leaders assists in the development of a written, comprehensive EHMG retention plan working with key EHMG stake holders.
- Serves as a trusted point of contact and customer service ambassador for EHMG employed providers.
- May partner with EH Hospital liaison function and service line leaders to build and maintains collaborative relationships for EHMG and the broader medical community.
- Assumes full responsibility for search assignments delegated by Manager of Provider Recruitment.
- Reviews and screens all applicants for assigned searches.
- Works with Executive Director and legal to facilitate development of timely Offer Letters and Employment Agreements to candidates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountabilities/Competencies
- Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending and speaking English as required for business necessity.
- Accountability for HIPAA privacy and security standards within the department or assigned nursing unit.
- Must possess basic skills to use Microsoft Office, specialized software and electronic office equipment.
- Communicates effectively via office visits, email, phone, voice mail, and written messages.
- Networks with administration, stakeholders, partners, customers, and new and established medical staff members daily.
- Attends meetings as needed throughout the local area.
- Frequent problem solving of administrative, staff, medical staff, and customer issues.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of health care with the ability to see possibilities in difficult situations and demonstrate diplomacy.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work with key stakeholders to implement organizational-wide systems and processes.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to recognize and appropriately manage sensitive information while maintaining the security of highly confidential information.
- Requires independent thinking and resourcefulness.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs, providing a high-priority to positive and professional customer/staff interactions that promote customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or a health care related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in provider recruiting, marketing, public/community/physician relations or other related health care fields
- Ability to see possibilities in difficult situations and demonstrate diplomacy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
