We're currently seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our Youngstown team. This is a hands-on role that combines front office responsibilities with hydraulic hose assembly and warehouse support. What You'll Do

As a Customer Service & Hose Assembly Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting customers and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers in person and answer incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Assist customers in identifying products and solutions for their applications.
• Process customer orders, quotes, invoices, and purchase orders accurately.
• Build and crimp hydraulic hose assemblies according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Cut, measure, label, and inspect hose assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Prepare customer orders for pickup or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and notify management of stock shortages.
• Operate hose crimping equipment and other shop equipment safely.
• Keep the front counter, warehouse, and hose assembly area clean and organized.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse, and service personnel to provide outstanding customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or counter sales experience.
• Experience in an industrial, hydraulic, automotive, manufacturing, construction, or MRO environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn hydraulic products.
• Experience assembling hydraulic hoses is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to accurately read measurements and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and walk throughout the workday.
• Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment.
• Work in both an office and warehouse environment.
