Key Responsibilities:

· Apply primers and paints to mechanical parts using paint spray guns and a variety of hand tools.

· Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, or other appropriate means to ensure paint adhesion. Mask areas as needed.

· Mix paints and additives or thinners in specified ratios.

· Inspect product for uniformity, ensure painted parts conform to all specifications and requirements. Touch up paint as needed.

· Ensure paint and additives are in-date and that all measurement tools are calibrated.

· Operate cranes, forklifts, and/or hand tools to hang and manipulate heavy parts.

· Maintain paint booth, conveyor system, and spray equipment, replace filters as needed. Break down, clean, and reassemble paint guns.

· Maintain daily records and logbooks as required.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Contribute to a culture of safety.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· Minimum 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of experience and education

· Good work ethic with the ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere

· Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and specifications

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Ability to climb, squat, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
