Job Description
The Fee Request Specialist position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Finance & Accounting Department. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meet a daily quota of reviewing assigned fee requests/approvals. This includes obtaining proper backup documentation for fees, launching rails in client systems to request fees, following up with clients on aged requests, uploading fee approvals from client systems to firm’s system, re-request fee denials where necessary, and completion of assignments as tasks are completed.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all requests/approvals, meeting billing timelines
- Ensure all client and internal systems are updated to include actions taken and all correspondence
- Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure requirements
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a desire to achieve accurate deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control
Required Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree strongly preferred (or applicable experience)
