Your Role in Our Journey

Wine Enthusiast is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Tasting and Editorial Coordinator (Part-Time) to support our Napa and Sonoma Reviewer in Sebastopol, California. In this part-time, non-exempt role (15–20 hours per week spread over 2–3 days), you will manage the end-to-end blind wine tasting process.

Key responsibilities include retrieving submitted wine samples from local storage in Healdsburg, transporting and organizing them in the Sebastopol office, managing setup and cleanup for tasting flights, verifying accurate data entry in the WERP system, and communicating professionally with wineries and internal team members.

What You'll Be Uncorking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieving and organizing wine samples.
  • Confirming submitted wines’ pertinent details into the Wine Enthusiast database.
  • Organizing flights based on Wine Enthusiast blind tasting protocols.
  • Setting up/cleaning up blind tastings.
  • Communicating to wineries and PR personnel.
  • Communicate with importers and wineries directly to verify the accuracy of product submissions.
  • Provide remote support to the New York team by managing the Submission Support email inbox and performing accurate database updates based on requests from the Buying Guide corrections inbox.
  • Assist Editorial Manager with Buying Guide corrections, price adjustments and other client requests.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license.
  • Must be commutable to the city of Sebastopol.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of or passion for the wine industry is a plus.

The pay range for this role is:
