Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Roving Property Manager to support apartment communities throughout our national portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned multifamily professional who thrives in changing environments, enjoys travel, and knows how to quickly improve property performance.

What You'll Do: As a Roving Property Manager, you'll provide operational leadership for one or more apartment communities, often supporting leadership vacancies, acquisitions, special projects, or communities requiring additional management expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the daily operations of one or more apartment communities totaling 500+ units
  • Drive occupancy, leasing, resident retention, and revenue growth
  • Manage property budgets, expenses, invoices, and financial reporting
  • Increase Net Operating Income (NOI) through revenue enhancement and expense control
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and supervise on-site teams
  • Ensure compliance with Monarch policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws
  • Review and approve leases, renewals, and required documentation
  • Oversee leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and overall property operations
  • Maintain accurate reporting, records, and operational documentation
  • Support employee engagement, training, and performance management
  • Participate in an on-call rotation while covering property assignments
  • Partner with Regional Managers and leadership on operational initiatives and special projects

What We're Looking For: We're looking for a multifamily leader who brings both operational expertise and a passion for developing successful teams.

Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of multifamily property management experience with leadership responsibility
  • Proven success managing apartment communities and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong financial and operational management experience
  • Experience with Yardi property management software
  • Thorough knowledge of Fair Housing and multifamily housing regulations
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments

Travel & Schedule Requirements: This position supports apartment communities across Monarch's national portfolio. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to travel extensively are essential for success.

  • Travel approximately3 weeks at a timeto communities throughout the portfolio
  • Enjoy1 full week offbetween travel rotations
  • Monday Friday: Following property hours
