Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000/year, Exempt

About the role
The Project Engineer is to support the business and be responsible for the oversight of most major aspects of equiment installation, construction work, including organizing the acquisition of materials, equipment and workers, planning for costs. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently but will work closely and report to the Business Operations Manager. The role supports cross-functional initiatives across headquarters and subsidiary operations by coordinating project activities, managing data, and ensuring operational alignment. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, contributing to the successful execution of projects related to equipment sourcing, logistics, and business operations.
This position is best suited for a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and strong communication across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
Support execution of cross-functional projects across multiple business unitsAssist in managing equipment sourcing initiatives and supplier coordinationMonitor site installations and assists with problem-solving, coordination with subcontractors and field communications.Tracking document control, permitting, scheduling, bidding, client/subcontractor/internal meeting documentation, and project closeout.Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination.Maintain accurate project data, records, and documentationCoordinate logistics across internal teams and external stakeholdersMaintain organized electronic filing systems and project documentationSupport day-to-day operational needs that impact project executionAssist in preparing basic project cost tracking and profitability inputsSupport data collection for profit and loss analysis as neededAct as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersProvide timely, professional communication and follow-upDeliver high-quality internal customer service through responsiveness and problem-solvingCreate and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Google WorkspaceCoordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between departments and external partnersQualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience1-3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or administrative support in a manufacturing or similar environment preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and shifting prioritiesClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionProficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (specially Sheets/Excel)Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support team objectiveAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to read construction mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) drawings.Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
