Job Description
Downhole Chemical Solutions (DCS) is an employee-owned oil and gas chemical company delivering performance-driven solutions in hydraulic fracturing. DCS is seeking a reliable, safety-minded Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to transport company equipment and materials between DCS facilities and client or distribution locations across multiple states. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring timely, secure long-haul deliveries while maintaining full compliance with DOT regulations. The ideal candidate is an experienced long-haul driver who is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable with multi-day trips away from home.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer over long-haul, multi-state routes, transporting DCS equipment and materials between DCS facilities and delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) on tractors and trailers
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles (interior and exterior)
- Collect and submit accurate Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation from facilities and clients
- Plan efficient, compliant delivery routes and manage Hours of Service (HOS) across multi-day trips
- Ensure safety equipment (first aid kit, fire extinguisher, reflective triangles, etc.) is stocked in vehicles
- Communicate effectively with the Logistics Manager, Remote Operations Center, Mechanics, and receiving facilities while en route
- Complete multi-state, overnight, and multi-day deliveries as assigned
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills (e.g., mudflap and gasket installation, fluid checks)
- Use Microsoft Teams App, GEOTAB Drive App, and Cat Scales App proficiently (training provided)
- Follow state and federal DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS), speed limits, and no-truck zones
- Accurately log Hours of Service using the GEOTAB Drive ELD app
- Submit timesheets/logs as directed
Job Type:
· Full Time
Pay:
- $25.00 start, depending on Experience
- Per diem / layover pay for multi-day OTR trips, per company policy
- 8 hrs of Standby Pay (when applicable)
Schedule:
- Regional and long-haul OTR routes; multi-day trips with scheduled home time
Location: On the road – multi-state routes, departing from assigned DCS facility

General Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record
- Working knowledge of DOT rules, Hours of Service, and ELD compliance
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform light maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate smartphones and mobile apps used for dispatch, routing, hours logging, and compliance
- Willingness and ability to be away from home for multi-day OTR trips, including overnight/sleeper-berth stays
- Positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills
- Must be dependable and self-motivated
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Prior OTR/long-haul driving experience
- Experience with frac water, crude hauling, or saltwater disposal
- H2S training, PEC/Safeland, or OSHA certifications
- Forklift or heavy equipment experience
