LPN SPECIALIST / PARAMEDIC- URGENT CARE - FULL TIME in Lakeland, Florida at WATSON CLINIC LLP

Essential Functions

• Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage.
• Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty.
• Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.
• Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information in patient’s medical record.
• Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office.

LPN SPECIALIST -

Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida state license. CPR certification. ACLS & PALS required within first 90 days of employment. IV certification required within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Education and Experience: Preferred two (2) years of experience in ER, critical care, urgent care, or Hospital setting.

PARAMEDIC -

Required Education and Experience
Licensed Paramedic under the state of Florida. CPR certification. ACLS & PALS required within first 90 days of employment

Preferred Education and Experience
Preferred two years’ experience in the field, in ER or Urgent Care or setting.
