SUMMARY

Responsible greeting and seating restaurant guests.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Seat guests as they approach the entrance in the proper sections as the floor

plan dictates.

2. Full understanding of the menu and ability to ring in food orders when

necessary.

3. Replenish supplies for carry out orders.

4. Responsible for keeping work area clean and presentable

5. Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING LINE

You will report directly to the Gatsby Supervisor then to the Director of F&B.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat

appearance at all times.

 The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.

 You will need the ability to read, write and understand simple instruction.

 Strong verbal communication skills.

 You will need to be available to work all shifts.

 The ability to work in a fast –paced environment.

 Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an

interruptive environment.

 You must be at least 21 years old.

 You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and

maintain a WV Racing License.

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

Helpful to be TIPS and Food Handlers certified, if not training will be provided.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

You will need to be able to stand/walk/sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to

push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 10 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and

seasonal elements.
