This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Price Realization Strategy Manager - Digital & PLG Pricing based in the United States.
This is a high-impact pricing leadership role focused on accelerating growth and improving the customer purchasing experience.
You will shape global pricing and discounting strategies across a broad product portfolio.
The role combines pricing strategy, financial modeling, advanced analytics, and operational execution.
You will lead monetization initiatives supporting digital and product-led growth (PLG) channels.
Working closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Growth teams, you will drive alignment on strategic pricing decisions.
You will also develop executive-facing analytics and translate complex data into actionable revenue opportunities.
The position is remote, with occasional travel for customer, project, or team meetings.
- Develop and execute global pricing strategies designed to improve revenue performance and business growth.
- Architect price optimization models incorporating price elasticity, competitive differentiation, customer behavior, and financial analysis.
- Lead pricing and monetization initiatives across digital, self-service, and product-led growth channels.
- Partner with Growth Marketing, Self-Service Sales, Console Engineering, and Finance teams to align PLG pricing strategies.
- Shape pricing and discounting frameworks across multiple products and customer segments.
- Identify opportunities to simplify the purchasing experience while supporting sustainable revenue growth.
- Design, build, optimize, and scale advanced pricing analytics dashboards using Tableau or Looker.
- Develop operational workflows that make pricing analysis and execution more efficient.
- Query and analyze complex datasets covering sales activity, customer behavior, product usage, and financial performance.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover revenue opportunities and validate strategic pricing hypotheses.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for business and pricing decisions.
- Build executive-facing reporting that provides visibility into pricing performance and monetization opportunities.
- Collaborate with GTM Strategy, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure effective implementation of pricing initiatives.
- Serve as an internal pricing leader and champion for new monetization strategies.
- Lead complex, cross-functional pricing projects from strategy through operational execution.
- Measure the business impact of pricing initiatives and use insights to continuously refine pricing approaches.
- Support multi-product and platform-level monetization strategies across global markets.
- Consider regional pricing dynamics, currency considerations, market differences, and regulatory requirements when developing pricing frameworks.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years directly owning consumption-based pricing and monetization strategies.
- Experience within IaaS, PaaS, developer-focused, B2C, or product-led growth environments.
- Strong expertise in pricing strategy, monetization frameworks, and price optimization.
- Hands-on experience developing complex financial and pricing models.
- At least 3 years of experience building and using strategic analytics dashboards in Tableau or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex sales, customer, product usage, and financial datasets.
- Demonstrated experience translating data and analysis into revenue-optimizing business decisions.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects with measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly when presenting complex pricing concepts.
- Ability to create compelling narratives and influence peers, executives, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and GTM organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field.
- Experience designing and scaling multi-product or platform-level pricing strategies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with global pricing and localization, including multi-currency strategies, regional market dynamics, and regulatory considerations, is preferred.
- Consulting experience, an MBA, or an advanced degree in a highly quantitative discipline is a plus.
- Comfortable operating in a remote-first environment with occasional travel for in-person meetings.

- For eligible locations listed in the source posting, estimated base salary ranges include $141,520–$176,900, $149,840–$187,300, and $166,400–$208,000 depending on geographic location; San Francisco Bay Area compensation is listed at $166,400–$208,000.
