Cabinet Maker in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Blood Assurance

Blood Assurance is seeking a dedicated Cabinet Maker, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help shape high-quality woodwork in our Mobile Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and finishing high-quality wooden products, including bespoke furniture, cabinetry, joinery, fixtures, and fittings. The role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, select appropriate materials, operate woodworking machinery, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and quality.

Cabinet Maker Job Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke furniture, cabinetry, joinery, and timber products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials accurately.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
• Perform sanding, finishing, and assembly work.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production.
• Maintain workshop equipment and cleanliness.
• Assist with installations as required.
• Workshop and manufacturing environment requiring the use of PPE.
• Occasional travel to installation sites may be required.

Cabinet Maker Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required;
• Essential: Apprenticeship, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience in carpentry, joinery, cabinet making, or furniture manufacturing.
• Desirable: Trade certification, CNC experience, and knowledge of CAD drawings.
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of woodworking materials and machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials safely, and work in a workshop environment.
