Weekender is building a Per Diem Event Staff Pool to support events across our properties. This is a flexible, as-needed opportunity for hospitality professionals who enjoy jumping in where they're needed and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.
Our events vary from private dinners and celebrations to weddings, corporate gatherings, group events, and special experiences. Depending on your skills and interests, you may support our events in the front of house, back of house, bar, or kitchen.
What You May DoWe typically hire per diem event team members for several areas:
Event Setup & Back of House Support
- Set up and break down event spaces, tables, chairs, linens, equipment, and other event materials
- Assist with moving supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed
- Help keep event spaces clean, organized, and ready for guests
- Support event teams throughout setup, service, and breakdown
- Jump in wherever needed to help the event run smoothly
Event Servers
- Provide friendly, attentive service to event guests
- Set and clear tables and assist with food and beverage service
- Serve plated meals, buffet service, passed appetizers, and other event offerings
- Maintain clean and organized service areas
- Communicate guest needs and requests to the appropriate team members
- Help with setup and breakdown before and after events
Event Bartenders
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly and responsible bar service
- Set up and break down bar areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar
- Monitor guest needs and communicate with the event team
- Follow all applicable alcohol service and safety requirements
Event Kitchen Staff
- Assist with food preparation, plating, service, and event execution
- Support chefs and kitchen leadership before, during, and after events
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and service area
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, dishwashing, and general kitchen support as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
We're looking for people who are:

- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays when events require it
- Able to arrive on time and ready to work
- Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods
- Experienced in hospitality, events, food & beverage, or customer service preferred, but not required for every position
For bartending roles, prior bartending experience and any required certifications or permits are preferred/required based on the location and responsibilities.
