Position Overview

The On-Course Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and exceptional hospitality to club members and their guests while enjoying the golf course. This position operates at the golf course turn, offering convenient food and beverage options to golfers as they make their way through their round.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, service-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in an independent environment. This role combines basic food preparation, beverage service, and personalized member interaction to create a welcoming and memorable club experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve a variety of quick-service food items and snacks.

• Ensure food is properly handled, stored, presented, and served according to food safety standards.

• Maintain appropriate food inventory and communicate replenishment needs.

• Keep food preparation and service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Beverage Service

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club policies and applicable laws.

• Maintain beverage inventory, coolers, and service supplies.

• Ensure beverages are presented and served promptly and professionally.

• Follow all applicable responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Member & Guest Hospitality

• Greet members and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.

• Provide prompt, attentive, and personalized customer service.

• Assist golfers with menu selections and answer questions about available offerings.

• Anticipate member needs and create a positive on-course dining experience.

• Represent the club professionally through appearance, attitude, and service standards.

Operational Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the on-course food and beverage service area.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

• Monitor inventory and notify management of shortages or supply needs.

• Follow all club procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

• Food handler certification required

• Alcohol awareness card required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

• A positive attitude and genuine desire to provide exceptional hospitality.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry food, beverage, and supply items.

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on club operations.
