What You Will Be Doing

• Provide individualized physical therapy care focused on respiratory and pulmonary wellness in an assisted living environment.
• Integrate chest physiotherapy techniques into care plans to promote airway clearance and maintain baseline respiratory function.
• Guide residents in the consistent use of incentive spirometers to support lung expansion and pulmonary health.
• Assess residents with chronic respiratory conditions and develop evidence-based therapy care plans.
• Monitor respiratory progress, oxygen saturation, and lung sounds, as appropriate, to adjust treatments.
• Educate residents and families on chronic respiratory disease management and preventive care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and facility care teams to coordinate comprehensive pulmonary care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
