Supervisor, Radiology, 11p - 7a in Louisville, Kentucky at Norton Healthcare

*This position will be working Monday - Friday from 11p - 7a*

The Supervisor must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. He/she must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, MRI safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates an understanding and skill in the direction and training of the radiology students. The supervisor will assist the Manager/Director in meeting department satisfaction, regulatory and budgetary goals.

Required:

• One year as a Diagnostic Imaging Tech.
• Diploma
• State License AND CNMT, ARRT (CT), ARRT (MR), ARRT (NM), ARRT (R), ARDMS, ARRT (S), ARRT (VI), ARRT (CV), ARRT (CI), or ARMRIT; OR ARDMS, ARRT(S) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT. One of: CNMT, (CT), (MR), (N), (R), RDMS, (S), (VI) AND State Radiology Technologist License Must obtain RAD within 12 mos of hire if currently hold RADT. Not required for employees with RDMS credential.
