Overnight Companion Caregiver-Dementia Suppor in Morris, Illinois at Complete Health Services Inc

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our client in Morris IL, client has Dementia and Ideal caregiver must be experience with dementia, calm, caring and matured. This is a companionship case to provide safety for client when sundowning during the middle of the night. Client is female and mobile. Experience with dementia is very important due to sundowning.

Schedule- Monday to Sunday- 11pm to 5am

Responsibilities

- Mantain a silent environtment to enable client sleep, the goal is for her to sleep through the night.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment when she is awake at night.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment.
- Document night activities and any changes in client condition as per HIPAA regulations.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in home health or group home settings.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
