  • Specialty Services Window and Chandelier Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Pool Cleaning and Maintenance, Exterior Building Cleaning

This is an exciting opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world; Kauai, Hawaii, through a relocation program with The Service Companies. Based at the luxury 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, this full-time role offers hands-on experience in hospitality. The program requires a minimum six-month commitment, with the opportunity to extend based on performance, attendance, and behavior, while maintaining at-will employment.

Weekly pay, full-time hours, and potential overtime based on business demands. A $100 arrival bonus is provided, along with the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 in additional quarterly bonuses over one year. The company covers the flight to Kauai and provides shared housing accommodations (23 employees per room), with weekly inspections and a $150 weekly housing deduction (subject to role-specific changes).

To support daily life on the island, transportation is provided once per week for essential errands, and one meal per shift is included at no cost. Candidates should be able to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 hospitality environment, meet physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs., and have relevant experience.

Additional program details include dress code standards, shared housing responsibilities, and access to bilingual ambassadors who support employees throughout their assignment. While flight to Kauai is fully covered, return travel is not included. This is a unique chance to gain valuable hospitality experience while enjoying an immersive island lifestyle in a world-class resort setting.

Position Overview:

Responsible for the transportation of The Service Companies employees to and from work locations and pick-up locations. Provides a safe and respectful atmosphere. Upon arriving at the resort, acts in a support role to housekeepers and supervisors. Responsible for cleaning hallways and removing trash while providing great customer service. Works in a fast and efficient manner.

Job Functions:

  • Follows all applicable motor vehicle laws.
  • Responsible for van cleanliness and reporting any problems with the vehicle.
  • Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees.
  • Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory policies.
  • Reports any wrongdoing to managers immediately.
  • Works weekend, holidays and rotating shifts.
  • Acts as a role model to other The Service Companies employees.
  • Provides housekeepers with needed supplies and stocks storerooms.
  • Removes trash and soiled linens. Prepares and separates soiled linens and terry for pick up.
  • Use floor equipment as required in the units, hallways, etc.
  • Flips mattresses over on a quarterly basis or as required by manufacturer.
  • Immediately notifies supervisor of any equipment failure.
  • Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License with excellent driving record
  • High School education or GED
  • Prior housekeeping, cleaning or customer service experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

Skills & Abilities

  • Must meet company and client's appearance standards.
  • Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation.
