The Implementation Advocate works directly with provider clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand workflows, configure solutions, and guide customers through successful adoption. The Implementation Advocate will support healthcare provider clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and operational workflows. This role requires a customer-focused professional who can manage projects, solve complex issues, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage client onboarding activities from initial discovery through go-live, using a consultative approach to understand workflows and configure solutions effectively.
- Gather, document, and translate client requirements into application configurations that support provider business processes, particularly revenue cycle management workflows.
- Support implementation projects by managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, and expectations with customers and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues, applying analytical problem-solving skills and escalating challenges when needed.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements, enhancements, and additional solutions based on customer feedback and business needs.
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to healthcare data and services.
- Contribute to operational success by supporting team objectives and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting software implementations in healthcare or other high-volume technology environments, with strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, project coordination abilities, and healthcare industry understanding.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting software solutions in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with healthcare IT solutions and working knowledge of revenue cycle management (RCM), including claims, remittance, and eligibility processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare data exchange standards and transaction codes, including ANSI X12, 835, 837, and 270/271.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms and familiarity with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive client relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals and implementation methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with clinical environments such as ambulatory, post-acute, or acute care settings is preferred.
- Experience with patient payment platforms, scheduling solutions, or workforce management software is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are considered an advantage.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $61,000–$89,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, location, and business needs.
