Parts Runner in Evansville, Indiana at Black Equipment Co Inc

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Parts Runner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting a wide variety of parts between vendors, customers, and company locations. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, is organized, and can safely handle and lift heavy materials while maintaining a professional attitude with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and materials in a safe and timely manner.
• Drive company vehicles throughout the workday, averaging 5-7 hours of driving daily.
• Load, unload, and transport parts weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Verify orders and ensure accurate delivery of parts and materials.
• Maintain delivery records and obtain signatures when required.
• Communicate with dispatch, vendors, and team members regarding delivery schedules and priorities.
• Assist with inventory organization and warehouse duties as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to spend extended periods driving and entering/exiting vehicles throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, automotive, or parts-running experience preferred but not required.

• Predictable 40 hours per week
• Day Shift, Monday-Friday
