Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Coordinator - Data Center and Network Delivery based in the United States.
The Project Coordinator will help support the systems, processes, and operational workflows behind complex data center and network deployments.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing complexity, improving systems, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
You will manage project-management tools and workflows while helping ensure deployment schedules, milestones, and critical-path activities remain visible and on track.
The position also serves as a key owner of technical documentation, including project requirements, build books, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Working closely with technical program managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will turn field experience into scalable processes and repeatable global playbooks.
This is a highly visible opportunity within a fast-growing cloud infrastructure environment where operational discipline and technical curiosity can have a meaningful impact.
The role is particularly suited to an early-career professional who wants to develop expertise in data centers, network infrastructure, and large-scale technology delivery.
- Own and continuously improve the project management environment, including Smartsheet and Jira, by developing automated scheduling tools, workflows, formulas, templates, and dashboards that support projects of varying complexity.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s technical source of truth, including Program Requirements Documents, Technical Build Books, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure critical technical documentation is current, organized, version-controlled, and reflective of the latest infrastructure and deployment requirements.
- Support deployment coordination by tracking critical-path milestones, project schedules, dependencies, and committed delivery dates across the deployment pipeline.
- Work alongside Senior Technical Program Managers to identify technical and operational blockers, maintain visibility into progress, and ensure important milestones remain on track.
- Translate lessons learned and field experience into standardized global processes, templates, workflows, and deployment playbooks.
- Identify operational friction and recurring challenges, then develop process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce the need to solve the same problems repeatedly.
- Support operational governance and process standards as directed by business leadership.
- Maintain the global deployment calendar and ensure key project information and documentation are prepared for leadership reviews and decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to maintain clear communication, consistent processes, and reliable project information throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical operations, project or deployment coordination, infrastructure operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with Smartsheet, including formulas, automated workflows, scheduling tools, dashboards, and structured data management; the ability to build and improve Smartsheet environments is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Jira or comparable project and workflow management platforms.
- Fundamental understanding of how complex physical or technical projects progress from planning through deployment and operational launch.
- Exposure to data centers, network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or other mission-critical technology environments is a strong plus.
- Strong technical curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how systems, workflows, and infrastructure operate.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and design practical improvements that make complex operations more predictable and scalable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing schedules, documentation, dependencies, and multiple concurrent priorities.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
- A proactive, builder-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently while seeking input and partnering effectively with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, operations, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating the ability to manage complex data and fast-moving timelines.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-growth environment and take ownership of improving systems rather than simply operating within them.
- Base compensation range of $50,000–$65,000 USD, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, location, and applicable laws.
- 100% company-paid premiums for employee medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- 401(k) plan with a 100% company match on contributions up to 4%, with immediate vesting.
- $2,500 annual professional development reimbursement.
- 11 paid holidays plus paid time off accrual and rollover.
- Increased PTO at 3-year and 10-year anniversaries.
- One-month paid sabbatical every five years.
- Annual anniversary bonus.
- $500 remote-office setup stipend during the first year and $400 annually thereafter.
- Internet reimbursement of up to $75 per month.
- Gym membership reimbursement of up to $50 per month.
- Company-paid Wellable wellness subscription.
- Opportunity to work on complex data center and network delivery programs within a rapidly growing cloud infrastructure environment.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure operations, technical program management, workflow automation, and process engineering.
- Inclusive environment that welcomes professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
