About DFTBA Records, LLC

DFTBA is an e-commerce enterprise that seeks to make a positive difference in our world. Our company's history--led by owners Hank and John Green--is grounded in the online space and collaborating with content creators to craft, sell and deliver high-quality products for their communities and supporters. As we have grown, so has our ability to do good--through our Good Store brand, we have proudly donated more than $12M to charities including Partners in Health and Coral Reef Alliance. And we are continuing to grow, motivated, not by personal gain, but by our potential to do more good.

We at DFTBA value creativity, problem-solving and, most of all, people. We are dedicated to attracting and investing in a diverse staff and welcome all experiences, perspectives and values that make you uniquely you.

In addition to hands-on inventory and receiving work, the Inventory Specialist helps coordinate workflow and communication when the Inventory Supervisor is unavailable.

  • Support inventory preparation tasks including cycle counts, kitting, labeling, and stock organization;
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in compliance with all safety policies;
  • Lead inventory cycle counts and audits to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy;
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies, including identifying root causes;
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in ShipHero, including lot code tracking, bin transfers, and adjustments;
  • Manage inventory-related tracking in Airtable and other reporting tools;
  • Coordinate directly with Procurement, Finance, Fulfillment, Production, and Leadership to resolve inventory issues;
  • Support workflow prioritization and operational continuity when the Inventory Supervisor is unavailable;
  • Assist with training, documentation, and process improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations;
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (ShipHero preferred);
  • Experience with Airtable, Google Sheets, or similar tracking tools;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, stoop, lift (up to 25 lbs), and reach overhead
  • Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs
