Responsibilities

  • Will work as Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor while performing phlebotomy and specimen processing.
  • Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary methods from all age groups. Provides direction/education for the collection of urine, stool, and other laboratory specimens. Processes and prepare lab specimens for transport to the testing lab.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program, Medical Assisting Program, or a minimum of 6 months full time experience in phlebotomy required.
  • ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
