Luminator is seeking an Accounting Manager that will lead the financial activities of the business—driving accuracy, integrity, accountability, and insight across all financial operations. The position oversees the full cycle of accounting activities, including the production of timely financial statements, review and reconciliation of complex accounting transactions, and implementation of strong internal controls that safeguard the organization and elevate reporting precision.
You will lead, guide, and develop the accounting team, ensuring the effective collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data used by leadership, auditors, creditors, and regulatory authorities. The role also owns the monthly-close cycle and partnering closely with management to shape forecasts, evaluate new initiatives, and measure performance against operational plans and standards.

Luminator is seeking an Accounting Manager that will lead the financial activities of the business—driving accuracy, integrity, accountability, and insight across all financial operations. The position oversees the full cycle of accounting activities, including the production of timely financial statements, review and reconciliation of complex accounting transactions, and implementation of strong internal controls that safeguard the organization and elevate reporting precision.
You will lead, guide, and develop the accounting team, ensuring the effective collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data used by leadership, auditors, creditors, and regulatory authorities. The role also owns the monthly-close cycle and partnering closely with management to shape forecasts, evaluate new initiatives, and measure performance against operational plans and standards.

Essential Functions:
- Participate in the Company's full-cycle month-end close process, including preparation and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with delegated authority levels.
- Execute monthly reconciliations and journal entries to assure accurate financial information is generated and proper internal controls are in place, in accordance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and Luminator policies and procedures.
- Working with management, monitor and perform variance analysis of monthly operating results against budget.
- Monitor and enhance the monthly close process, including analysis of current regional close activities and opportunities for improvement; participate in the implementation of operating procedures to improve efficiency.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all statutory reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
- Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, segregation of duties, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Analyze financial and operational information to determine the most efficient use of resources and capital.
- Provide strategic recommendations and solutions for the operational units and senior management team.
- Actively participate in initiatives and special projects as required by senior management, and segment leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience
- 5+ years preparing financial statements.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Commercial Industrial industry experience is highly preferred,
Technical Skills:
- Technical and business knowledge to include financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications is required, including but not limited to MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools like Syteline desired.
- Certificates & Licenses: CPA preferred but not required.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Able to create ad-hoc financial models.
- Able to prepare detailed financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, working with cross-functional teams in multiple geographies across varying time zones.
- Proficient in expert knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
- Experience with Syteline preferred but not a requirement.
- Experience working with databases and retrieving information from information systems.
- A proven record of time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Master’s degree in accounting or MBA is desired.
