Personal Care Assistant - (Female Caregiver)

Location: Albany, Ky
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am-10am 10 hours

This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, understands the importance of dignity and patience in caregiving, and enjoys creating joy in daily routines.

Caregiver Match Summary
The client prefers a female caregiver, who is laid-back, patient, dependable, and experienced working with difficult personalities. The caregiver should be mature rather than very young and comfortable providing support in a home with heavy smoking.

Home Environment
Clean home with no known infestations
Heavy smoking in the home
One small, friendly dog
Client’s ex-wife also lives in the home
Client is fully mobile

Care Needs
The caregiver will primarily provide non-personal-care companionship and household support, including:
Light housekeeping
Simple meal preparation as needed
Running errands
Transportation and accompaniment to doctor’s appointments
Dependable, patient support for a client who may be challenging at times

Best Caregiver Profile
A mature, experienced female caregiver who is comfortable around cigarette smoke and dogs, has reliable transportation, and is confident setting calm, professional boundaries. She should be patient and easygoing without being passive, as consistency and experience with difficult clients will be important for a successful match.
