Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) | Per Diem | East Brunswick, NJ

Acute Medical Staffing LLC is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for as-needed home infusion visits. You'll provide one-on-one care in patients' homes and coordinate with the pharmacy and care team. We'll contact qualified nurses as cases become available and match visits based on location and availability.

Pay: $47 per hour, plus separate mileage reimbursement for assigned visits

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before treatment and administer prescribed IV medications according to the care plan.
• Start peripheral IVs and manage vascular access devices as appropriate to the assignment.
• Monitor patients during infusions and respond to adverse reactions according to protocol.
• Educate patients and caregivers, document each visit, and communicate with the pharmacy and care team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license authorizing practice in New Jersey and current BLS certification.
• IV infusion experience and proficiency with peripheral IV starts. Home infusion experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently in patients' homes.
