The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of the delivery of our energy projects, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Reporting to the Projects Director, you will lead site teams and subcontractors, manage budget and programme, and be the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders on projects spanning electrical, mechanical and civils works.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project delivery, including safety, quality, programme and cost
• Coordinate interfaces across electrical, mechanical and civils works
• Lead site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
• Act as the primary contact for the client, designers and stakeholders, chairing site progress meetings and driving actions to close
• Take full responsibility for budget control and commercial performance, including subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
• Identify change events early, maintain accurate cost forecasting and find opportunities for cost saving and value engineering
• Develop and drive the project programme, identifying critical path activities and risks and putting mitigation measures in place
• Lead inspections, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements and contractual obligations
• Report progress, risks and commercial position to senior management, and maintain robust project controls and documentation
• Support Sales and commercial teams with scoping and investigating new projects

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Construction Engineering (or equivalent)

• Proven experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, including projects with complex scopes

• Strong background in live construction environments; previous trade experience would be advantageous

• Demonstrable experience managing budgets, subcontractors and commercial risk

• Strong leadership and decision-making capability

• Familiarity with Irish construction contracts and site conditions

• Demonstrated knowledge of PSDP and PSCS roles

• IOSH or similar training, and formal project management training

• Full driving licence
