About This Position
Position Highlights:
The Supervisor Facilities PM (Preventative Maintenance) Evening plans, manages and supervises the completion and documentation of all scheduled preventative maintenance of the Organization’s Asset Components that include all General, Life Safety, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Hydronic Systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. This position is also responsible for providing indirect guidance to other supervisors for procurement of replacement equipment and parts and construction coordinators to provide project specific input to support the Facilities Infrastructure. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital, research, or clinic facilities. All these responsibilities will be performed specifically during the evening hours (i.e. 3:00pm to 11:00pm).
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role,
(OR)
- Certified completion of a Vocational Technical and/or Associates in one of the engineering disciplines (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, etc.) and a minimum of five (5) years Hospital/Healthcare Facilities experience and Minimum of two (2) years Facilities/Support Services supervisory or lead experience is required.
- Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities.
Preferred Experience
- 5 years Hospital experience is preferred.
- 5 years Hospital Maintenance is preferred.
- 1 year High-rise Mechanical and/or Utilities systems experience is preferred. Third-Grade Engineer’s License is preferred.
