About This Position

POSITION SUMMARY
-
Serves as a resource for, and evaluates appropriateness of drug therapy. Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, manufacturing compounding, repackaging, relabeling, dispensing and control of medications, intravenous fluids and other pharmaceuticals products.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum Required:
-
BS Pharmacy or Pharm D. Valid NC license to practice pharmacy prior to staffing assignments.
-
Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education credit annually.

Preferred:
-
Above plus prior hospital experience, Pharmacy Practice or Specialty Residency.
