• Sell advertising campaigns utilizing both radio and digital products to local and regional advertisers from an assigned account list.
• Prepare marketing proposals and creative ideas to present to customers that will assist in the achievement of their overall business goals.
• Prospect for new clients on a continuous basis. Learn about their business and use that knowledge to present outlines of various schedules and/or programs that will draw customers to their business.
• Achieve or exceed daily activity and sales goals as determined with the Director of Sales.
• Ensure proper credit applications are completed and be responsible for timely collection of payment from advertisers.
• Participate in training programs, assigned by the Company, designed to increase job knowledge and job performance.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with advertising clients.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems.
• Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure proper internal communications and good customer service.
• Maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with copywriters, production and traffic personnel as well as other support staff to ensure clients’ needs are met.
