Field Calibration Manager at VBB – Waltham, Massachusetts

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Field Calibration Manager to lead and manage a team of field technicians responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and performance verification of instrumentation and equipment across customer sites. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong technical background, excellent people management skills, and a commitment to quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of field calibration technicians

• Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and performance metrics for field operations

• Ensure all calibrations are performed to industry standards and customer specifications

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP)

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve technical issues and optimize service delivery

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of calibration or instrumentation experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of calibration processes, documentation, and industry regulations

• Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills

• Willingness to travel as needed to support field operations
