Fitness / Aqua Fitness Instructor

Community and Development Services

• Instruct Aqua Fitness or Land Fitness programs.
• Organize and promote fitness activities.
• Promote healthy lifestyles to our community through public education projects.
• Comply with applicable provincial and municipal legislation including the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and the Municipality’s Records and Information Management Program.
• Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, applicable legislation, as well as the Municipality of Leamington’s Health and Safety Program.
• Other duties as assigned.

• YMCA, CALA, FOLP or Can Fit Pro Certification preferred.
• Group fitness certification preferred.
• Intermediate First Aid/CPR-C with AED required.
• Customer service skills and innovative fitness ideas.
• Must have experience demonstrating strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Note: A photocopy of qualifications is required with application.
