Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in Dillon, Montana at Barrett Hospital & HealthCare

Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Registered Medical Assistant position to join our Clinic team. The Registered Medical Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of Clinic leadership and medical providers. The Registered Medical Assistant works in tandem with the Clinic team for management of patient flow, assisting physicians with assigned procedures, and taking, screening and initiating necessary telephone calls to patients. The Registered Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining exam rooms, supplies and instruments necessary for use by physicians and ensuring cleanliness, sterility and equipment availability. The Registered Medical Assistant administers medications and injections, as ordered by physician. The Registered Medical Assistant performs all clerical duties required for maintaining complete and accurate electronic medical records. Successful candidates will have a passion for customer service excellence, team work and enjoy working with the public.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program with a Registered Certification in Medical Assisting required. Three to five years related healthcare experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
