About This Position

Description:

Function includes overall responsibilities for front desk activities from greeting the patient through data entry and scanning of chart to ensure smooth patient appointment processing. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Opening office and setting up front desk, patient check in and check out, data entry and scanning, phone coverage and scheduling, close of day.

Requirements:

One to two years of Medical office experience.

Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to greet all patients and visitors to the office, answer the telephone, schedule appointments, verify and update demographics and insurances, post payments and collect balances. You will be asked to help with patient-related tasks such as faxing and receiving records.
Prior knowledge of electronic medical records is a plus.
