We are pleased to announce an internal job opening to join the Registration Team at the Sonia Gutierrez Campus. This position offers a great opportunity to support student enrollment and services in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

SG Registration Coordinator

We are in search of a Registration Coordinator. This role will optimize the operations for overseeing all registration-related activities at the Sonia Gutierrez campus for the registration department. It involves actively supporting staff during information sessions aimed at currently enrolled students and external applicants, ensuring that all participants receive the necessary guidance and resources. The position is also focused on enhancing the overall registration experience for students, making the process smoother and more efficient.

This position aims to create a cohesive environment that fosters collaboration and addresses the organization’s specific needs by engaging various stakeholders throughout this process, such as program directors, administrative staff, and students.

Key Objectives

Develop, implement, and communicate efficient registration workflows for career training programs to reduce processing time and minimize errors.

Regularly review and update procedures based on feedback and best practices.

Act as the primary point of contact for registration inquiries from students, faculty, and staff, ensuring timely and accurate responses at the Sonia Gutierrez Campus.

Contributes to accurately preparing reports and files, ensuring thorough student data verification for the annual enrollment audit, and facilitating a smooth and efficient auditing process.

Serves as a key evaluator of the student information system, focusing on the effective collection and organization of essential data required for report generation and management of registration processes. Additionally, provides comprehensive information regarding application and enrollment requirements to both prospective applicants and current students.

Strategies

Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Regularly review and update procedures based on feedback and best practices.

Maintain open lines of communication with other departments for timely updates on policies or changes.

Build Strong Relationships: Strengthen connections with students and staff to foster an inviting and supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and collaboration.

Provide comprehensive information regarding application and enrollment requirements to both prospective applicants and current students.

Actions

Engaging stakeholders through regular feedback is crucial for enhancing the program’s activities and workflows. This collaborative approach will lead to a more effective and streamlined experience for everyone involved, ensuring that our objectives are met efficiently.

Boosts operations and enrollment in career training programs. By providing essential support to staff during information sessions, we enhance the experience for both current and prospective students, making the registration process smoother and more welcoming.

Act as the primary point of contact for registration inquiries from students, faculty, and staff, ensuring timely and accurate responses at the Sonia Gutierrez Campus.

Send out regular communications to keep stakeholders informed about key registration dates, processes, and any changes.

Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of every student record, registration, or student movement at the Sonia Gutierrez Campus.



Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or 1-2 years of related experience, or an appropriate combination of

education and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Access, Excel, and reporting
  • Fluency in Spanish, Amhari,c or French (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulously detail-oriented
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all students, employees, and contractors

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks, work as a team player, and work under pressure
  • Ability to work with people from a variety of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds

The hourly amount is $25.28 per hour to $36.34 per hour based on experience.

Work Schedule M-Wed: In Person (AM and EVE) Th-V: Virtual (AM/PM)
