About the Role:

The Weekend Manager RN at Northbrooke Post Acute plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care during weekend shifts. This position is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Weekend Manager will also serve as a key point of contact for families and patients, addressing any concerns and facilitating communication between staff and residents. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
  • Certification in geriatric nursing or related specialty.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of care.
  • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient conditions and address any immediate medical needs.
  • Implement and monitor care plans, ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and provide updates.
