SALARY $15-$19 PER HOUR (D.O.E.)

JOB SUMMARY

Skate Instructor provides a quality instructional skateboarding experience for youth. Instructor will teach different levels of skateboarding to youth ages 6+. Monday-Thursday 8-11am.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES

Sets up the skate park classes, greets students, provides clear direction, and cleans up after class.

Educates participants on proper and safe skateboarding form and skate park etiquette.

Enforces policies and procedures in the skate park.

Provides exceptional customer service before, during, and after each class.

Arrives on time, dressed appropriately for the activity, and prepared to teach.

Maintains attendance for each class session and submit rosters to supervisor after sessions.

Communicates with parents regarding student progress.

Communicates clearly with Recreation Coordinator regarding schedule, equipment or facility needs or issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with skateboarding
• Previous experience working with youth
