JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS |
- JOB SUMMARY
- Performs those duties involved with a variety of technical procedures for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional & Technical Skills
- One year of Hospital Radiology experience preferred.
- Education
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology.
- License(s) or Certification(s)
- Registered with American Registry of Radiology Technologists. Certified as a diagnostic radiation machine operator by State of Indiana.
- Other Skills or Requirements
- Ability to perform routine procedures with stationary and portable equipment in all areas of the facility, including OR Knowledge of the use of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures in a manner consistent with minimal radiation exposure and maximum image quality.
- Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
