As a Sales Associate, you are more than a team member — you are a brand ambassador. You bring high energy, positivity, and reliability to every shift, creating moments that turn first‑time visitors into lifelong Baked by Melissa fans.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver elevated, high‑energy customer service in alignment with our SWEET experience: Smile, Welcome, Educate, Engage, Thank
  
  

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth, enthusiasm, and a big smile — making each interaction memorable
  
  

• Start authentic conversations, answer questions, and educate customers on our products, ingredients, and in‑store promotions
  
  

• Assist customers in choosing their favorite bite‑size treats while suggestive selling to meet and exceed daily sales goals
  
  

• Handle all transactions efficiently and accurately through our Point of Sale (POS) system
  
  

• Tackle multiple tasks with ease — from assisting customers, to restocking, to completing opening/closing checklists
  
  

• Be proactive in communication with your team and leadership — whether it’s sharing feedback, raising a concern, or celebrating wins
  
  

• Respond to customer questions or concerns with urgency and care
  
  

• Maintain awareness of potential security or operational issues and immediately alert management
  
  

• Support inventory tasks, including receiving, organizing, and stocking product
  
  

• Show up reliable, on time, and ready to bring the Sweetest Vibes every single shift
  
  

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high‑energy, positive attitude with a passion for customer service

• Reliability and strong communication skills — your team knows they can count on you

• Ability to multi‑task and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment

• A genuine smile and love for connecting with people

• High School Diploma or GED

• 18 years of age or older

• Flexible availability, including weekends and peak retail hours

• Ability to lift 30 lbs or more
