Role Summary:

At FIFTH SEASON, we're revolutionizing the entertainment industry with groundbreaking content that captivates global audiences. As a dynamic studio with a soul, we're seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in providing executive-level administrative support, supporting the maintenance of accurate financial records, and assisting in various accounting, production finance and financial planning functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance executives to support travel & expense policy compliance, and other financial projects as needed. They must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and possess a keen attention to detail. This role requires interaction with high-level internal and external clients in a professional and confidential manner.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing executive-level administrative support to finance executives, including managing calls and calendars, coordinating and scheduling internal/external meetings, creating expense reports and tracking expense reimbursements.
  • Maintaining and organizing various documents and contracts in a shared drive, updating and distributing databases to internal and external teams as necessary.
  • Assisting in financial planning, production finance and accounting teams with ad-hoc projects, including coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information for process improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting gathering of documents for internal and external requests.
  • Supporting preparation of financial reports and analysis for various projects.
  • Supporting the Company’s compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for numbers and data-driven analysis
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
