Multi Site Maintenance Handyman in London, England at Common Bond

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Maintenance Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of our studios. This role ensures all facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard. As part of the role you will be required to undertake both reactive and planned maintenance repairs as well as addressing any facilities issues. The role will require a range of multi-skills and travel across Central London.

This is a highly active role, which would suit someone who is self-motivated, eager and customer centred with strong communication skills.Key

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to perform routine repairs including painting, patching, carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, and equipment fixes across studios

• Troubleshoot and repair studio equipment such as bikes and Reformer Pilates machines (training provided if needed)

• Carry out regular maintenance and checks of studio equipment

• Replace light bulbs, fixtures, mirrors, signage, and small hardware as needed

• Assemble, move, or install equipment, furniture, and fixtures

• Work with the Maintenance & Engineering Manager to schedule weekly visits across studios

Essential Requirements

· A background in residential maintenance or commercial maintenance

· Ability to work within a customer facing environment

· Presentable appearance

· A basic knowledge of travel within London

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy items safely

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
