JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, mulitskilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The PCT is assigned to work under the supervision of the licensed nurse who delegates tasks based on patient needs, PCT skill level , and abilities. The PCT provides care for the adolescent, adult or geriatric patient.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred High School Diploma Completion of High School or GED required.

• Less than 2 years Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course required. Previous Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred Required

• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 17 years of age required.
