We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Expert to architect, optimize, and scale our SharePoint and Power Automate environment — while also supporting light IT operations such as onboarding setup and user support.
This is not a passive maintenance role. This is a strategic builder role.
What You’ll DoSharePoint Architecture & OptimizationDesign and enhance SharePoint Online sites, hubs, and information architecture.
Develop scalable site structures, document libraries, metadata, and permissions models.
Improve user experience and adoption through intuitive design.
Establish governance standards for structure, naming conventions, and lifecycle management.
Design and deploy automated workflows for approvals, document routing, compliance tracking, reminders, and notifications.
Integrate SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
Replace manual processes with measurable, reliable automation.
Monitor and optimize existing flows for performance and reliability.
Build automated tracking systems for training compliance.
Create dashboards and structured reporting tools.
Support scalable engagement and communication systems.
Ensure documentation is audit-ready and inspection compliant.
Set up new user accounts (Microsoft 365, email, Teams, SharePoint permissions).
Provide basic IT help desk support and troubleshoot user issues.
Assist with system access, permissions, and account lifecycle management.
Support onboarding processes by ensuring new hires have proper system configuration and access.
Coordinate with leadership and compliance for secure access controls.
Ensure solutions align with HIPAA and internal compliance standards.
Maintain data security, access control, and documentation.
Partner with compliance and leadership to protect system integrity.
Translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.
Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
Manual processes are automated and trackable.
SharePoint environments are structured, secure, and scalable.
Onboarding workflows are efficient and standardized.
Users receive timely IT support with minimal downtime.
Leadership has visibility into workflows and performance metrics.
Microsoft 365 is leveraged as a strategic operational platform.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365, including:
SharePoint Online (architecture, permissions, governance)
Power Automate (cloud flows, triggers, approvals, integrations)
3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions.
Experience building governance frameworks in Microsoft 365.
Strong understanding of data security and compliance.
Ability to independently scope, design, and deploy solutions.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
Familiarity with HIPAA-aligned system design.
Experience with Power BI integrations.
Microsoft 365 or Power Platform certifications.
Lean or process improvement experience.
Contract structure (project-based milestones or hourly).
Defined scope with measurable deliverables.
Potential for ongoing advisory engagement based on performance.
